The City Works for Hatov
Continuing the success of its The City Works site in Openshaw, Langtree has announced another occupier taking the occupancy to 93 per cent.
Importers and distributors of kosher food, Hatov Distribution, have purchased a 3,730 sq ft industrial unit on the Clayton Court part of the site. The company began 8 years ago based in London and opened a branch in Manchester 2 years ago in leased accommodation.
Hatov owner, Avi Roth said: “Since opening the Manchester branch we have been looking to purchase an industrial unit but, until now, hadn’t been able to find something suitable in the local area.
“Our requirement was for a secure unit in good condition, and The City Works appealed to us as it provided this, amongst its many other benefits.”
Following on from the outstanding success of the 100,000 sq ft first phase, Langtree is shortly due to complete a further 57,158 sq ft of industrial accommodation.
Phase 2, which is to be known as Norbury Court, will comprise 17 high quality units ranging in size from 2,600 to 22,000 sq ft with a specification that includes offices, heating and lighting.
Jayne Furnival, Senior Property Manager at Langtree added: “We are delighted to welcome another local occupier to The City Works, demonstrating that there is still a high demand for good quality small to medium sized units within each reach of the city centre.”
Joint agents for both phases of The City Works are DTZ’s Manchester office and P3 Property Consultants.
