New letting for Langtree at Speke Hall Industrial Estate
Langtree has secured a new letting at its recently acquired Speke Hall Industrial Estate, Liverpool, following the successful growth of Total Logistics Training Ltd (part of the TWA Group).
The company has taken the space after expanding its offering to cover training for apprenticeships and people studying for National Vocational Qualifications. The move has seen it grow its workforce to more than 20 staff.
Providing training courses for businesses and individuals in the logistics industry, this is the second training academy for Bromborough-based Total Logistics Training Ltd. The Speke academy will provide a mixture of courses including logistics and warehousing management, fork lift training, first aid and health and safety.
Speke Hall Industrial Estate was acquired by Langtree Commercial Property, the property investment arm of the Langtree Group, in January this year, adding to its 2.2 million sq ft portfolio.
Jan Brindle, regional manager at Langtree Commercial Property, said: “Since acquiring the site earlier this year we have imminent plans to invest heavily in bringing it up to the standards our tenants have come to expect from a Langtree property. As such we have had a lot of interest in the units available and are pleased Total Logistics Training Ltd has chosen the estate as its latest company base.”
Trevor Ashton, managing director at Total Logistics Training Ltd, said: “We have had plans to expand our training to cover apprenticeships and NVQs for a while, so are delighted to see them come to fruition.
“The space at Speke Hall Industrial Estate is perfectly located for us and our clients being close to a number of colleges in the area and companies working at Liverpool’s port. The new facilities will enable us to continue to provide vital training in a high-quality professional environment.”
B8 RE is the commercial property agent for the building.
Langtree operates a diverse portfolio of directly owned and joint venture property totalling more than 4 million sq ft comprising office parks, industrial estates and trade parks across the north and midlands of England.
