Latest deals for Langtree's City Works

Date:

Langtree has announced the latest deals at its City Works industrial scheme in East Manchester.

El Pan Fresco, local bread makers for nearly 30 years, have taken 4,251 sq ft of industrial space on a 5-year lease in the Medlock Court part of the site.

Owner of El Pan Fresco, Elaine Metcalf said: “We required more secure premises than our existing ones provided but wanted to remain in the local area, so City Works was the ideal choice for us.”

City Works comprises of three courts providing a total of 48 industrial units to let ranging in size from 2,600 to 22,000 sq ft with a specification that includes offices, heating and lighting, and well-sized service yards.

Along with El Pan Fresco moving to the site, existing tenant First Choice Flowers have taken an additional 2,663 sq ft of space on a 5-year lease for their expanding business.

Jan Brindle, property manager at Langtree, said: “We are delighted that City Works continues to be a popular choice with occupiers, and the latest deals see the site taken to 85 per cent let.

“There has been strong interest in the remaining units and we hope to have further occupiers imminently.“

City Works is located in Openshaw fronting Ashton Old Road (A635), which provides one of the main arterial routes east from Manchester city centre to Junction 23 of the M60 motorway.
