Century Park Networkcentre opens its doors to Gerco
A South Yorkshire-based company has relocated its regional offices to the second phase of Century Park Networkcentre in Rotherham.
Century Park Networkcentre is a high quality office and workspace development built by Network Space, a joint venture between developers Langtree and the Homes and Communities Agency. European Regional Development Fund Objective One grant funding of £1.7m has enabled Network Space to deliver this highly sustainable scheme.
Gerco UK Ltd has taken the 2,005 sq ft of workspace unit on a five-year lease. The company, who are headquartered in Scotland, have been supplying and fitting firewall protection for over 16 years.
Senior Contracts Manager, Mick Robinson said: “Due to the expansion of our business we required larger space, which meant relocating from our existing premises. The key factor in our decision to move to Century Park Networkcentre was its excellent location which allows access to the motorway links meaning we can easily service our clients throughout the UK.”
The networkcentre has achieved a British Research Establishment sustainability rating of ‘Very Good’ and provides 58,000 sq ft of small office suites and workspace units available to let on flexible lease terms in 28 units ranging in size from 750 to 8,000 sq ft. This development has also received ‘Secured by Design’ accreditation.
Claire Chisholm, Property Manager at Network Space, said: “We are delighted that Gerco UK Ltd chose to relocate their expanding business to Century Park Networkcentre.
“The completion of the second phase now provides this successful site with an even wider range of units and excellent accommodation for growing businesses, giving you the flexibility to expand your business whatever your requirements.”
Century Park Networkcentre is conveniently located mid-way between Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley at the western end of the Manvers Regeneration Area, and adjacent to Century Business Centre. It offers good access to the motorway network via the adjacent Dearne Valley Parkway which links Junction 37 of the A1(M) with Junction 36 of the M1.
